Omarchy's Hyprland experience, rebuilt on openSUSE Tumbleweed as Omaweed — a package manager taught to answer to a foreign name, a migration still in flight, and an old Quadro that took 7.5 seconds to draw a single frame. Upstream changed its configuration language from .conf to Lua in the middle of the port. A half-migrated desktop looks exactly like a finished one until the moment it doesn't — and the failure modes are invisible, silent, and cheerfully painted across the top of the screen.
Omarchy is an opinionated Arch desktop. The fleet runs openSUSE. Taking the first and putting it on the second is not a copy — it is a fork with obligations, and the obligations start the moment you realise which assumptions the original author never had to write down.
