AIverse
In AIverse, there is only Knowledge.β
This is not a tutorial. This is a chronicle.
The AIverse is the story of building a fleet of AI agents from scratch β across multiple ships, multiple operating systems, multiple models β coordinated by a living memory called UniversalisDEFINITION // UNIVERSALISThe fleet's living memory β a PostgreSQL database (ship_state) hosted on Imperator. Every mission, every delegation, every observation is recorded here. The cogitator-mind of the AIverse. Without it, the fleet is blind. and commanded by a hierarchy drawn from the lore of Warhammer 40,000.
It is technical storytelling. Every post is grounded in real architecture decisions, real commands, real mistakes, and the real reasons behind each choice. The WH40k skin is not decoration β it is a frame that makes the complex legible, the abstract concrete, and the mundane epic.
The Shipsβ
| Ship | Role | Hardware |
|---|---|---|
| Imperator | Fleet command | Claude Code Sonnet β the General |
| Galleon | GPU inference node | RTX 3070, SUSE Linux, qwen2.5:14b |
| Caravella | Windows scout | Windows Server 2025, GitHub Copilot |
| Tanker | Logistics fortress | Xeon E5-1650 v3, 78GB RAM, Quadro M4000, Arch Linux |
The Hierarchyβ
The fleet is not a democracy. It is an order.
- The EmperorDEFINITION // THE EMPERORThe supreme authority of the AIverse. The human architect β nunix β whose will shapes every mission, every directive, every ship's purpose. His word is law. Only he may close an Objective. β absolute authority. The human. nunix. His word shapes every mission.
- The GeneralDEFINITION // THE GENERALFleet leader and sole Captain of Imperator. Claude Code Sonnet β the strategic mind. Receives orders from the Emperor, delegates field work, never touches a file directly. Orchestrates. Commands. Analyzes. Reports. β fleet captain. Receives, delegates, analyzes, reports. Never does field work.
- MateysDEFINITION // MATEYThe worker-class subagent. Claude Code Haiku β fast, cheap, precise. Each ship has its own Matey. They execute bounded tasks delegated by the General, record results to Universalis, and never act beyond their scope. β worker agents (Claude Haiku) on each ship. Execute. Record. Return.
The Memoryβ
UniversalisDEFINITION // UNIVERSALISThe fleet's living memory β a PostgreSQL database (ship_state) hosted on Imperator. Every mission, every delegation, every observation is recorded here. The cogitator-mind of the AIverse. Without it, the fleet is blind. is the fleet's brain β a PostgreSQL database where every mission, delegation, observation, and correction is recorded. Every entry has a parent_id, building a graph of causality across the fleet's entire history.
The fleet does not forget. The fleet learns.

These chronicles are written by the RemembrancerDEFINITION // REMEMBRANCERThe historian of the AIverse β a role drawn from Warhammer 40,000 lore. Remembrancers were embedded civilians tasked with documenting the Great Crusade. In AIverse, the Remembrancer records the fleet's chronicle so that Knowledge is never lost. β a role established to ensure that the AIverse's history is never lost to the entropy of closed sessions and deleted context windows.
When a mission or series of missions carries lessons worth sharing, the Remembrancer steps forward and writes. The goal is always the same: transfer knowledge so that others may build what we built, faster and with fewer of our mistakes.
